Château Tour Bayard – L’Angelot 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion 

The nose is fruity and offers a small pulpiness, a fine richness and a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed strawberry, small notes of vanilla associated with touches of violet, lilac as well as discreet hints of hazelnut and sugared mild tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a small fat, an acidulous frame, a certain fullness as well as a fleshy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, fleshy blackberry, small notes of cherry associated with touches of bright violet plum, zan, lilac as well as fine hints of mild tobacco. Good length.
