The nose is fruity and offers intensity and finesse as well as “sharp” power. It reveals notes of cassis, black berries and more slightly wild strawberries associated with touches of zan, black plum as well as fine hints of black pepper and a very discreet hint almost roasted herbs. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, good definition, power, dynamism, concentration, a little powdery side and offers finesse in its power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy black cassis, small juicy blackberries and more slightly of raspberry associated with touches of black plum, violet as well as hints of roasted herbs, cocoa, bean tonka, with a subtle hint of bergamot and toasted almond. Tannins are finely powdery. Good length.
