The nose is aromatic and offers concentration as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, pistil and small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, cassis bud as well as hints of small crushed red fruits, liquorice stick, a hint of almond, grey pepper and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a certain aromatic purity, a small concentration, a fine tension, minerality as well as juiciness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, small wild black berries and small notes of pistil, flowers (lily, violet) associated with touches of liquorice, crushed black cherry, liquorice stick as well as fine hints of racy minerality, small crushed blue fruits, fine hints of camphor, almond and a very discreet hint of pepper. Tannins are structuring and very finely chewy. Good length. A hint of dry/crushed hazelnut on the aftertaste.
