Château Tour Baladoz 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers concentration. We find notes of crushed blackcurrant, blueberry and slight notes of ripe fruit associated with almost rosemary/sage touches, blond tobacco, cinnamon as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is nicely fruity, mineral, fresh and tangy with gourmandise. We have notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, bright purple plums and small notes of small bright red fruits associated with a hint of blueberry, vanilla, licorice stick as well as a hint of sage, lilac and a discreet almost infusion hint as well as toasted notes. Nice salinity and sapidity on the finish with persistence, the wine has a beautiful freshness and a tangy frame with sapid and tasty tannins.
