The nose offers a fine power/concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, small crushed black fruits, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of crunchy/juicy raspberry as well as fine hints of violet, lily, a racy minerality and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, freshness, a fine gourmandize, minerality as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/finely acidulous cassis, small notes of juicy/finely acidulous raspberry associated with touches of chocolate, toasted as well as a subtle hint of almond and very fine hints of liquorice stick (in the background). Tannins are very finely marked.
