Château Thieuley Cuvée Francis Courselle 2023 – Bordeaux Blanc

The first nose offers a beautiful expression of ripe fruit and spices: we find in particular the aromas of vanilla, nutmeg, a hint of clove, associated with notes of fresh lemon zest, lemon juice, orange, grapefruit, ripe apricot and ripe yellow peach, as well as notes of apple blossom, fresh lime blossom, honey in the background and a lactic touch of butter. The attack on the palate offers concentration and expressive flavors of aging (fresh wood, vanilla, toasted hazelnut), combined with gourmet flavors of stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot), lemon juice, lemon candied yellow, grapefruit juice, fresh pineapple, apple blossom, acacia and a lactic touch of butter and peach yogurt. The finish offers a salivating and fresh acidity, associated with a good bitterness, which balances the rich profile of the wine and its oily texture. Beautiful structure, richness and concentration.
