Château Thieuley 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers lovely, precise fruitiness and elegance. There are notes of creamy blackberry, full-bodied strawberry and, more slightly, pulpy blackcurrant, combined with subtle hints of violet, liquorice, graphite and bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandize and aromatic purity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed strawberry and, more slightly, pulpy/fresh plum, combined with hints of fleshy red berries, as well as vanilla, violet, star anise, a subtle hint of tonka bean and a discreet hint of almond. The tannins are mellow. Good length.
