Château Thénac 2022 – Bergerac

The nose is elegant, racy, intense and presents energy and power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet and small concentrated black berries, associated with touches of juniper berries, juicy roasted red cherry, a hint of camphor, cardamom, licorice stick, as well as a discreet hint of roast-elegant and sweet tobacco. The palate is well-built, elegant, racy, silky, delicate, taut and offers precision, a beautiful roasted-elegant side, gourmandise as well as precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of concentrated blackberry, coffee and small crushed fruits, combined with touches of small roasted-elegant red fruits, as well as fine hints of coffee, toast, tobacco, sense of the place (local biotop) and a subtle, almost imperceptible hint of green pepper in the background. A delicate and gourmand wine that offers a mellow texture, gourmandise and a good sapidity.
