Château Teyssier 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Teyssier 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose reveals a bright and powerful fruit, offering a beautiful intensity and an airy finesse of the grain. It reveals a great aromatic complexity: we perceive complex notes of wild blackcurrant, bright boysenberry, and, more precisely, blueberry associated with touches of elegant roasted morello cherry, as well as a fine hint of incense, violet, a subtle hint of saffron and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is beautifully built, fruity, suave and fresh, with a mineral frame, a subtle tension and a silky and unctuous texture. We find flavors of black cherry, bright morello cherry, bright boysenberry, and particularly star anise associated with touches of roasted and juicy red berries. Notes of chocolate, toast, cardamom, roasted hazelnut and mocha complete the picture. An elegant, juicy wine with a vibrant minerality.
