The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fresh, fruity and juicy, with a delicate spicy hint. It expresses notes of morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, black plum and red cherry jam, associated with notes of liquorice, cardamom, a fine herbaceous and sappy touch (crushed mint, pine needles, pine sap), as well as an elegant perfume of violet and a gourmand touch of fresh hazelnut and toasted hazelnut. The palate is lively, with a beautiful tangy frame and juicy fruits. It expresses notes of morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, blackcurrant, bird cherry, cranberries, as well as crushed raspberry and strawberry. There are also touches of dried peppermint, pine needles, liquorice, violet and toasted hazelnut. The finish is savoury, tangy, with notes of dried morello cherry and blackcurrant. Tannins have a fine grain, tight on the finish. Good length on the fruits and a very subtle bitter touch.
