The nose reveals notes of ripe red berries, cassis and small notes of undergrowth / earth associated with subtle hints of violet, zan, spices, chocolate, an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and sanguine and offers a small fluidity, a fine suavity, an acid frame, racy minerality, a fine fat, straightness and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and fine notes of fleshy raspberry, Gariguette strawberry associated with touches of violets, fine touches of undergrowth, spices as well as a very discreet hint of melted chocolate and hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
