The nose is gourmand, aromatic and offers a fine richness as well as a fine density. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry and ripe/fleshy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of crushed cassis, laurel berries, violet as well as fine/subtle hints of dark chocolate and almond. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, juiciness as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly crushed blueberry associated with fine touches of flowers/violet, chocolate, a subtle hint of almond, sugared mild tobacco, sweet spices, hints of tonka bean as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and beautiful persistence. Beautiful persistence.
