The nose is fruity, fine, delicate, elegant and suave. It reveals notes of blackberry jam and Quetsche plum associated with slight notes of chocolate, toasted oak, a (quite) slight notes of cherry as well as a discreet / fine notes of mocha and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, gourmand, precise, fine, bright, silky, well-balanced, elegant, sweet, complex, refined, nicely supple, beautifully delicate and offers a nice freshness, tension and a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and a fresh touch of blueberry cream associated with slight touches of red fruit / raspberry, licorice, oak, a hint of plum as well as quite fine touch of blueberry and Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence.
