Château Tayet – Cuvée Prestigne 2018 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small intensity and a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, ripe blackberry and small notes of small fruits associated with fine touches of flowers as well as very discreet hints of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers minerality, freshness, a mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy raspberry, juicy/crunchy blackberry and small notes of juicy/crunchy strawberry associated with fine touches of flowers as well as a subtle hint of fresh liquorice stick and an imperceptible hint of spices . A very discreet hint of toasted almond and chocolate on the aftertaste.
