Château Tayac 2022 – Margaux

Lovely gourmand nose, rich, juicy and offers lovely fruit quality. We find notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry, juicy blackcurrant and small notes of small, bright red fruits associated with touches of lily, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of Timut pepper (in the background). Lovely mineral palate, fresh, juicy, precise and offers brightness, a mineral frame as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly fresh violet/lily associated with touches of racy minerality as well as hints of tonka bean, toast, nutmeg and fine vanilla tips. The tannins are sapid and soft.
