The nose is fruity, more chiselled and reveals finesse, gourmandize, some aerial quality and power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry liqueur, fresh/juicy raspberry and a hint of violet combined with delicate touches of crushed blackcurrant, crushed red currant as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, sweet spices, a hint of nutmeg and fine toasted notes. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, smoothness, some tension, freshness and length. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy redcurrant, crushed blackcurrant and, more lightly, fleshy/juicy red fruit, combined with hints of lily, bourbon vanilla, sweet blond tobacco and fine points of nutmeg/cardamom. The tannins are sapid and mellow.
