The nose is quite aromatic. There are notes of sweet spices, pulpy boysenberry, crushed raspberry and slightly sweet blond tobacco combined with subtle touches of fresh hazelnut, pulpy berries and fine vanilla. The palate is fresh and shows minerality, a fresh/mineral structure, some roundness, juiciness and a fine restrained fruitiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy boysenberry, fresh blueberries and a bit of fleshy raspberry combined with hints of vanilla, fresh blond tobacco and fine toasted notes. The tannins are fine and mellow.
