Château Talbot – Caillou blanc 2023 – Bordeaux Blanc

A lovely fresh, mineral, precise, taut, elegant nose, with a certain roundness in the aroma. It expresses notes of fresh peach, small pulpy/bright fruits, fresh quenette and more slightly – fresh citrus fruits associated with a touch of lime zest, a subtle hint of mesocarp and has a very discreet almost verbena hint. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a fresh frame, minerality, delicacy, accuracy, a certain tension, a nice definition and a nice energy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy peach, crunchy green apple and more slightly – small bright fruits associated with touches of juicy/fresh citrus fruits as well as fine almost peach blossom hints, verbena, zest and saline/iodine. An almost aromatic side of tannins on the finish/persistence.
