The nose is fresh, elegant, racy and reveals some complexity, a lovely floral quality. There are notes of fresh blueberry, lily and more lightly delicate/fresh blackcurrant combined with fine pints of fresh wild berries, a fine touch of peony, graphite/camphor, a subtle hint of madagascar pepper, discreet hints of ripe sweet pepper (varietal aroma of Cabernet), a very discreet hint of clove and vanilla. The palate is fruity/floral and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, juiciness, a little contained crunchiness, an almost airy stretch in the finesse approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, fresh peony and more lightly crunchy red berries combined with fine points of fresh cherry, lilac, fine points of racy minerality, a subtle hint of liquorice, a discreet hint of caramelisation and sweet blond tobacco (in the background). Good length. The tannins are precise and racy. A wine is full of freshness, delicacy and finesse.
