The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power (in finesse/control), intensity as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of juicy/pulpy Boysen berry, juicy/pulpy strawberry, small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of crushed cherry, violet, zan/liquorice stick, tonka bean as well as fine hints of cuben pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, a small freshness, a good definition as well as gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse of the fat, deepness, tension, a fine grain and power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, griotte, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of small crushed black fruits, violet, liquorice, chocolate as well as fine almost caramelized hint and toasted almond. Good length. Tannins are elegant, coatin and offer power. A very discreet saline hint on the finish.
