The nose reveals a certain concentration and depth. There are notes of concentrated blackcurrant, boysenberry and more slightly crushed cherry combined with hints of lily, cherry blossom, fine hints of liquorice, mocha and a discreet touch of Madagascar pepper and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals freshness, minerality, good definition, tension, energy and a freshness that carries the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, cherry and more lightly fresh flowers combined with hints of fresh red berries and fine mocha toast and a discreet varietal edge in the background. Good length and sapidity.
