The nose is fruity with a fine concentration and floral character, some reduction. Notes of cloves, ripe strawberry and slightly pulpy blackcurrant notes are combined with hints of violet, sweet blond tobacco and a fine hint of clove, varietal character and a very discreet hint of racy / almost saline minerality (in the background). The palate is mineral and offers freshness, a fine fat as well as an acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly violet, fresh lily combined with hints of clove, toast and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. A subtle chewiness on the finish.
