Château St Georges 2022 – Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity with a fine power, racy, a certain suppleness and smoothness. We have notes of crushed cherries, pulpy strawberries and slight notes of fleshy blackcurrant associated with touches of nutmeg, star anise and a subtle hint of fresh tea. The palate is fresh, mineral with energy and a nice freshness. There is acidity and a little vibrant side with notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, pulpy fresh blackcurrant and more slightly crushed raspberries associated with touches of star anise, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and a imperceptible almost sappy note in the background accompanied by a hint of tea.
