The nose is fruity and reveals sincerity, a certain controlled power, a nice fine grain and some depth. There are notes of blackberry, cuben pepper and, more lightly, ripe wild red berries combined with fine touches of lilac and a discreet hint of spice. The palate is mineral, fruity and reveals a fine tension, sincerity, good definition, some gourmandize, a certain delicacy, sharpness and a certain straightness. A fine airiness in its creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, wild dark berries and more slightly fleshy currants combined with a touch of plum blossom, lily/lilac, hints of tonka bean, zan and a subtle hint of almost bergamot and sweet spices. The wine is fresh and complete.
