Château St Estèphe 2018 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small freshness, elegance and harmony as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe strawberry and small notes of sweet spices associated with fine touches of violet, cornflower and very fine hints of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous red berries, juicy/acidulous raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of chocolate, juicy cherry, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of sweet spices/ nutmeg. Tannins are fine, elegant.
