Château Soutard-Cadet 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers lovely definition, a certain intensity of finesse and elegance. It expresses notes of boysenberry, blueberry and, more lightly, bright strawberry, combined with fine touches of violet, roasted notes as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco and a discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition, smoothness, lovely energy/dynamism. It expresses notes of juicy/tart blackberry, pulpy/tart blue plum and more slightly – bright blueberry associated with touches of juicy/tart redcurrants as well as hints of cornflower, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are elegant, soft and distinguished. Savory persistence.
