Château Soutard 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Château Soutard 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, precise and offers concentration, complexity, a nice infusion side as well as a certain appetizing darkness. It reveals notes of violet, morello cherry, concentrated blackcurrant and small notes of crushed blueberry associated with touches of star anise, Madagascar pepper as well as an almost balsamic hint and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, precise, nicely racy, fresh, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, tension, accuracy, vibrant acidity as well as beautiful energy. Beautifull brilliance of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cherry, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of fresh blue plum, star anise, cornflower, fresh lilac, bergamot, tonka bean and toast. A fine hint of infusion in the background. Tannins are tasty and elegant. Fine hints of sweet blond tobacco in the background. Beautiful salinity on the finish. Good length and lovely persistence. Congratulations!
