The nose is aromatic, slightly close and offers a very fine richness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and cocoa associated with a subtle hint of blue fruits/fleshy berries, fleshy strawberry, coffee, Cuben pepper as well as discreet touches of dark chocolate, toasted and vanilla. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a fine juiciness, freshness, a good definition, tension, dynamism, a good structure, fat as well as a small aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, fleshy/ripe berries and more slightly black cherry, raspberry, plum associated with discreet touches of zan, tobacco, cassis bud/lily, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background) and Cuben pepper. Tannins are well-built and slightly firm. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa and fine touches of vanilla on the finish/in the background.
