It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with small touches of smoke as well as fine hints of spices and a discreet hint of lilac. Presence of discrete tertiary points in the background. The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, balanced and offers a nice definition, a little salinity, a nice patina / satin side, a nice acidity as well as a nice freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of luscious / juicy Boysenberry, violet and more slightly fleshy / juicy plum associated with a touch of raspberry, redcurrants as well as hints of tonka bean, smoke, a subtle hint of tobacco, with fine tertiary tips and an imperceptible almost rosemary hint.
