CHÂTEAU SOUDARS 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose offers gourmandise, a fine velvety texture, fruit and a certain fleshiness of the fruit. It expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, violet and more slightly – blackberry, fleshy blackcurrant associated with touches of cornflower, smoke and fine hints of vanilla and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a mineral frame, good definition, tension, accuracy, a certain suppleness and precision. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – bright redcurrants associated with touches of fresh cherry, racy minerality, tobacco, smoke and toast. Good length, the tannins are soft and gourmands.
