The nose offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild strawberry, small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of grey pepper, fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of fresh leather. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers finesse of the grain, tension as well as a mineral/Fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh strawberry as well as hints of nutmeg, fresh tobacco and camphor. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
