The nose is elegant, flowery and offers a good definition, a small delicacy and a fine controlled power. It reveals notes of violet, boysen berryand small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of lily, strawberry, crushed cherry as well as hints of liquorice, sweet spices, cardamom, discreet hints of toasted and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, flowery, well-balanced and offers dynamism, fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, juicy cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of rose, lily, juicy/fresh cherry as well as hints of cherry blossom, liquorice, nutmeg, vanilla, discreet hints of toasted almond and a subtle hint of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A beautiful gourmand, fresh and full of finesse wine.
