The nose is aromatic and offers power/concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly blackberry associated with a hint of cornflower, liquorice, caramelized oak, spices as well as a subtle hint of cumin. The palate is fruity, juicy, racy, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers minerality, a good definition, a fine suavity, a fine gourmandize, tension, a fine freshness as well as a good structure. On the palate expresses notes of cherry, raspberry and more slightly blackberry associated with fine touches of flowers (iris…), discreet touches of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of almond and vanilla. Tannins are slightly chewy. Good length. Good persistence. Small chews on the finish. There is a very discreet hint of coffee and almond on the persistence/aftertaste.
