Château SOCIANDO MALLET 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose needs to be decanted. It presents a certain power, a small concentration, velvetiness and delicacy. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of small roasted-elegant red fruits associated with touches of blond tobacco, bourbon vanilla and fine hints of Timut pepper and sweet spices and offers a touch of plum blossom. On the palate, the wine is beautifully mineral, juicy and offers a little freshness, roundness and a slight fat. It offers a mineral frame and a certain roundness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright cherry and more discreetly, crushed raspberry associated with touches of tobacco, cardamom, bourbon vanilla, as well as a hint of balsamic, cubeb pepper and fine toasted hints. Tannins are mellow, elegant and gourmand and offer aromas of cherry blossom. Nice minerality. A wine offering gourmandise and harmony.
