The nose is elegant, deep and offers intensity as well as a breed. The wine benefits from decanting. We find notes of quenette, peach and saline gravel associated with hints of fleshy nectarine, fine hints of kumquat, ripe tangerine as well as discreet hints of acacia flowers, a subtle hint of warm pine needles, salted butter and a hint of hazelnut. The palate is well-built, offering suppleness, freshness, a lovely racy minerality (terroir), precision, concentration, a lovely substance, a pretty 3-dimensional side as well as gourmandise. Lovely grain and textured. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy peach, quenette and, small notes of, fresh kumquat, associated with touches of verbena, acacia flowers, discreet hints of salted butter as well as a subtle, almost biscuit-like hint of toasted hazelnut. Tannic and elegant side.
