The nose is fruity, fine, beautifully elegant and offers a slight aerial side. It reveals notes of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) and a hint of cassis associated with a discreet hint of racy minerality (terroir), violet as well as a hint of spices. The palate is fruity, fine, well-balanced and offers a slight smoothness, tension, a beautiful minerality, a slight freshness, a beautiful roundness as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream and crushed Gariguette strawberry associated with a hint of cherry, cassis as well as small notes of minerality, chocolate, coffee, caramelized oak and a slight hint of Ceylan tea. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and persistence. Beautiful finesse and gourmand persistence (with slight notes of caramelization).
