Château Siran 2023 – Margaux

The nose is well-managed and offers a fine concentration, accuracy, precision and a certain small breadth. It expresses notes of ripe wild blackcurrant Boysenberry and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry, associated with touches of camphor, racy minerality, small ripe/fresh red fruits, as well as a fine hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandise, mellowness and sapidity, finesse and a certain concentration in accuracy/finesse. It expresses notes of concentrated blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry, violet and small notes of small ripe-fresh red fruits, associated with a fine touch of racy minerality, wisteria, as well as fine hints of star anise and smoke. The tannins are sapid and mellow. Good length. Nice minerality and texture. Nice mellow persistence.
