The nose is fine, aromatic and tight. It reveals notes blackberry jam and Quetsche plum associated with slight notes of licorice and a hint of coffee and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, racy, relatively fat and offers minerality as well as a beautiful matter and balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with fine touches of dark chocolate, discreet notes of ripe red fruit (wild strawberry …) as well as slight notes of toasted oak, tea, Zan and a touch of purple flowers. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence on the fruit.
