The wine shows a bright ruby colour, youthful and vivid. The nose reveals typical notes of the Bordeaux varieties – nuances of cassis, black currant leaf, a touch of green pepper, fresh tobacco leaf and a bunch of spices. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with refreshing acidity, elegant structure, good fruit concentration and nice balance. The tannins are grippy, fairly stemmy but adding to the overall freshness of the wine. The flavour profile is on a greener, leafier side, with notes of tobacco and black currants. The finish is refreshing, pleasantly green and linger long.
