Château Simard 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fresh, floral and offers some spices and fruit. There are notes of juicy cassis, pulpy cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of lily, as well as fine hints of floral pepper and a subtle, almost sappy hint. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, fruity and offers energy, acidity, a stretched side and an easy access side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of violet, combined with touches of lily, as well as fine hints of saffron (on the floral side) and a hint of cocoa. Freshness and a little fat.
