CHÂTEAU SIGOGNAC 2024 – Médoc

The nose is fruity, elegant, with depth, a certain complexity and a hint of floral/sappy. It reveals notes of fruity/ripe cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of spices, associated with touches of cubeb pepper, a floral hint and discreet hints of nutmeg and smoke. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, with a delicate, coating fat and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, small bright red berries, and small notes of juicy cassis, combined with a touch of cranberry, flowers, and a discreet, almost sappy/fennel-like hint in the background. The tannins are sapid and well-built. A certain purity in its definition.
