Château Sigognac 2021 – Médoc

Château Sigognac 2021 – Médoc

The nose reveals some concentration and spiciness. There are notes of concentrated blackberry, black pepper and, more slightly, crushed strawberry combined with delicate touches of zan and a fine hint of blueberry and an imperceptible hint of white pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, juiciness, acidity, a certain delicacy and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly raspberry combined with hints of chocolate, fresh nutmeg as well as fine nuances of toasted almond and a very discreet almost peppery hint in the background. Good length.
