Château Sigalas Rabaud – Semillon 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain depth, a lovely spicy side and complexity. It reveals notes of fresh quince, juicy cedar and small notes of fresh peach, associated with touches of small crunchy fruits, as well as fine hints of mandarin/sweet grapefruit and finely spices hints. The palate is fruity, juicy, it offers a tangy, tannic and gourmand frame, minerality, suavity, an iodized side and a certain texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy yellow apple, fresh pear and small notes of quince/mandarin, combined with touches of white flowers, acacia, verbena, as well as fine, almost vanilla-like hints in the background and racy minerality. A lovely, precise and elegant grain. Good aromatic and gourmand persistence. A fine iodized side and a discreet hint of creaminess in the background.
