Château Siaurac 2023 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose offers concentration, but closed at first. After aeration, it expresses aromas of tangy black fruits (blackcurrant, wild blackberry, blueberry, black plum, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry. We then find notes of liquorice, menthol, fresh wood, chocolate, white pepper, nutmeg and vanilla in the background, combined with touches of violet and peony. The palate is silky, textured and chocolatey. It expresses flavors of morello cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, wild strawberry and licorice on a chocolatey and toasted finish. Good persistence with notes of cherry in chocolate, violet and peony.
