Château Siaurac 2021 – Lalande de Pomerol

Château Siaurac 2021 – Lalande de Pomerol

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers precision, freshness and tangy fruit. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, red cherry and raspberry, associated with a touch of smoke (which appears on the second nose), toasted wood (in the background), coffee, chocolate, as well as sweet spices (ground cumin, white pepper, liquorice), violet and a touch of dried mint. The palate is melted and silky, with a juicy and enveloping attack. It first expresses flavors of juicy fruits (morello cherry, wild strawberry, black plum, blackcurrant, crushed raspberry), complemented by a touch of dark chocolate, cherry in chocolate, a good bitterness of coffee, a touch of toast and a fine spiciness (liquorice, vanilla in the background, ground cumin) on the finish. The tannins are supple, soft, with a very fine grain. The finish is persistent, sapid and chocolatey, with a nice acidity and a refreshing note of morello cherry juice. A harmonious, fresh and gourmand wine.
