The nose is aromatic and fine. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry, violets and liquorice combined with a (quite) discreet hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, silky, relatively fleshy and offers a mineral / juicy frame, tension, a small acidity and a good matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam and plum jelly associated with fine notes of black cherry, dark chocolate as well as discreet notes of red fruit (in the background) and a hint of oak. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with fine notes of dark chocolate / cocoa. The finish is relatively suave.
