Château Sergant 2018 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fruity and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of ripe cassis associated with a touch of strawberry as well as fine touches of violet and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanaced and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame, tension, gourmandize, a fine power as well as a fine and silky material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy wild strawberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of violet, blueberry, fine hints of liquorice, toasted as well as a very fine hint of tonka bean and a subtle hint of coffee. Good length.
