The nose is fruity and slightly powerful. It reveals slight notes of ripe blackberry and crushed cassis associated with slight notes of raspberry as well as slight notes of licorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-built and offers a slight fat, juiciness as well as a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with woody hints, chocolate as well as discreet hints of caramel and slight touches of chocolate on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a discreet hint of hazelnut on the persistence.
