The wine shows a deep ruby colour with a purple tinge. The nose is fruity, luscious, revealing notes of ripe red and black cherries, a touch of blue plums, figs and a hint of cocoa. The palate is round, well-balanced between fresh acidity, fluid texture and chalky, grippy tannins. It opens up with notes of sour cherries, thorn, forest raspberries and a delicate peppery hint on the background. Very youthful and vivid, needs some time to curb its temper.
