The nose is fresh with a fine intensity, a fine straightness and a certain purity of fruit. There are notes of fresh raspberry, fresh/juicy blackcurrant and more slightly bright boysenberry combined with delicate touches of pepper, nutmeg and a discreet hint of spice. The palate is mineral, balanced and reveals fruit, acidity and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild blackcurrant, raspberry and more slightly acidic red currant with hints of blueberry, sweet blond tobacco and a hint of liquorice. Good length.
